“Middle School is tricky age to work with! Our school’s emphasis on Caring Community strives to support both the emotional development of young adolescents as well as the development of leadership abilities in our 7th and 8th grade students, and our work with Keith and his OPA teams for the last four years have been an integral part of this initiative. Their emphasis on team building and problem solving start our year off with “best foot forward” for both students and staff. The experiences shared in OPA’s orientation program echo through our school year and culminate with a second end of the year follow-up from the team that demonstrates to our students just how far they’ve grown as leaders and thinkers, and reminds our staff just why we work with kids in the first place.”
