The Affordable Portable Adventure Education In-Service program is specifically designed for Physical Education Teachers, Teacher Aides, Coaches, and Counselors who are relatively new to adventure programming and want to receive a great introduction into Adventure Education or if you have you been leading Adventure activities for years and are looking for new ideas for your ‘bag of tricks”? Either way, this in-service is dynamic, very interactive, and fun! You will definitely walk away from The Affordable Portable Adventure Education In-Service training with a new bag of tricks.
Participants will:
- Learn skills to facilitate portable icebreakers, community-building games, and problem-solving initiatives.
- Use a variety of easily available props, games and materials.
- Learn to use sequencing, framing and debriefing skills to enhance effectiveness of activities.
- Be able to implement an effective and fun adventure program using portable games and initiatives.
Program Length: 2 Hour, Half day, Full Day
