Character Education and Anti-Bullying Workshops
At OPA we believe that human relationships and character development are the building blocks of high student achievement. Whether a child feels safe and supported in school can have a significant impact on student performance. Having Anti-Bulling Programs can create a positive school climate that is essential for students to thrive and have a great learning experience. When classrooms are engaged in discussions and activities about a character and citizenship, the entire school begins to have a more positive atmosphere. Students feel more connected with each other and teacher-student relationships are strengthened.
Our character education workshops for K-12 students provide a hands-on and interactive learning experience that build tangible life skills, personal values, and promote personal growth. Our character education programs incorporate the principles and activities that are based in experiential education. Experiential learning techniques are an innovative approach that promotes the character development of children. For many people learning and facilitating behavior change can be a passive process. Our student workshops will provide multiple learning opportunities to motivate one’s commitment toward responsible behavior and maximize the learning potential of the experience. The essence of our student workshops is to promote Trustworthiness, Respect, Courage, Responsibility, Fairness, Empathy, and Citizenship.
Our Character Education and Anti-Bullying programs are aligned with nationwide programs such Character Counts, Project Wisdom, Cares, and many others.
