Student-Athlete Orientation Team Building Programs

Student-Athlete Team Building Orientation

Our customized student-athlete orientation programs are energetic, fast-paced experiences designed to foster connection, teamwork, and school spirit. Offered as a half-day or full-day program, this engaging workshop blends fun, competition, and collaboration to help student-athletes build meaningful relationships across teams.

Participants kick off the session with dynamic icebreakers, warm-ups, relays, and interactive games that set the tone for an inclusive and high-energy environment. From there, student-athletes are grouped into small, diverse teams and challenged with a series of mental, physical, and creative tasks—all designed to promote communication, problem-solving, and team cohesion. This orientation experience provides student-athletes with a valuable opportunity to connect with peers outside of their individual teams, helping to build a stronger, more unified athletic community.

  • The value of each team member’s input to building community
  • Strengthening cross-team relationships
  • Creating a positive and inclusive team culture
  • The development of a student-athlete support network
  • The opportunity to practice working towards goals with other student-athletes
  • Helping student-athletes transition smoothly into a new season or school year

You can take our Student-Athlete Team Building program to another level by having OPA train your student-athlete leaders or SAAC Group to co-lead this workshop. Prior to the Student-Athlete Orientation our highly skilled facilitators will train your student-athlete leaders on how to lead each team building event. This is a wonderful opportunity for your student-athlete leaders to connect with their fellow student-athletes while working on their own leadership skills.
