“I have had the privilege to work with Keith as a college athlete and now as a coach. As a collegiate athlete, I knew I was missing some intangibles both on and off the field. Keith came to work with our team during preseason both my freshman year and my senior year, and what he did with us really helped me get to the next level mentally. Between the time Keith came to work with us, our program won our first conference title, made our first NCAA tournament appearance, and made it to the Regional final. I’ll never forget the memories I made with my teammates during our sessions with Keith, as well as the growth we achieved both as a unit and as individuals. From Gladiator to Raise the Bar, we learned valuable lessons about accountability, discipline, controlling the controllables, and working together as a unit. The thing that really stuck with me, especially after Raise the Bar, was the idea of Failure as Fertilizer. Keith helped me learn things as an athlete that will stick with me as I graduate college and move forward with life.

As a coach, it was really great to see my team absorb what Keith was saying. As a former college student-athlete that has worked with Keith, it was really neat to see how he effectively works with both college-level athletes and middle school and high school elite athletes – he was able to get the same points across to incoming freshmen that he was to my college team. The girls were constantly engaged and were so into each exercise, and Keith gave them so many takeaways from our session. The girls make sure there’s no double parking, they make sure to flush it, and they remember certain activities that taught them to control the controllables. It’s been really awesome to see the maturity and mental growth that’s taken place over the last few weeks both as a team and for each individual. Keith not only ran an incredible session for us, but he’s also stayed up to date with the team’s progress and how the girls have been performing. Keith not only taught the girls mental lessons to use on and off the field, but he also explained ways for the coaching staff to help reiterate these lessons to our team. Keith’s session really helped our girls bond together and raise their mental game.
